what made you want to become a musican?

I've always grown up loving music. when I was five I would dress up like madonna and dance/sing to like a virgin and other songs like that in the mirror. obviously my musical tastes changed as I grew older but the desire to not only be a part of music but to actually make it never did. courtney love was a huge influence in my life. when I found hole in my early teens, it was crazy, everything I ever imagined in my head in one band! and she was fucking hot and didn't take shit from anyone. truly inspiring!

what are some of your favorite things to write about or songs to play?

everything ali [guitarist] and I sing about comes from personal experience, whether it be a terrible time in our lives that we overcame or current turmoil we are working through...hate, love, betrayal, drugs and the refusal of oppression.
